Sweden qualifies for the UEFA Euro 2016

Sweden tied with Denmark 2-2 in an exiting football match this evening, bringing Sweden to the UEFA Euro 2016 in France next summer.

Since Sweden won over Denmark 2-1 on Saturday in Sweden, it was enough to draw with Denmark in the tonight game in Denmark to qualify.

Denmark started strong, but the Swedish team took control of the game in 19 minutes when Zlatan Ibrahimovic scored the first goal of the game, and the first half continued at this result.

At 76 minutes, Ibrahimovic brilliantly scored the second goal from a direct free kick settled into the top corner to the left of the Danish goalkeeper.

Then, at 82 minutes, Poulsen scored Denmark’s first goal, and Denmark started gaining momentum when Vestergaard scored the second goal in the first minute of extra time.

Denmark fought hard to score a third goal, but the Swedish goalkeeper, Isaksson, managed to block a shot just a few seconds before the end of extra time, to end the game tied at 2-2, which is enough to qualify Sweden for UEFA EURO 2016 in France.

The groups have already been set, where Sweden will be in the third set as well as the Czech Republic, Poland, Romania, Hungary and Slovakia.
