Al-Diyar Lebanese newspaper wrote a few days ago that Sweden and Norway have decided to send cruise ships for the transfer of refugees from Turkey, Jordan and Lebanon to Europe.  The news article was accompanied by a photo of the luxurious cruise ship “Queen Victoria”.

German Foreign ministry has denied this news today, and the German newspaper “Der Spiegel” wrote that this news is a rumor launched by some newspapers in some Arab countries to suggest to people that it is very easy to travel and seek asylum in Europe.

The German ambassador in Cairo denied the news, and said that the numbers of refugees that Germany will receive this year is about 800000, but this does not mean that all of them will stay in Germany, more than two-thirds of that number will be distributed to other EU countries, according to “Der Spiegel”.

Another rumor says, Germany and Sweden need workers like what happened in the sixties, and there are ready jobs with high salaries waiting for refugees, which resulted in chaos around the embassies of Germany and Sweden, because people believe that they will be granted asylum and residence permits at the embassies.

But the German Foreign ministry denied to all these rumors, and said that there are no such decisions and that people should not hold high hopes for such false news, and called upon the newspapers and the media to contact the embassies to make sure of the news before publishing to maintain its credibility, instead of spreading rumors and false news.
