Abbas threatens to break agreements with Israel

The Palestinian flag was raised for the first time at the United Nations Headquarters on Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at 18:00 GMT.

The flag was raisied after the speech of the Palestinian president, Mahmoud Abbas, before the General Assembly of the United Nations in New York, where he threatened to cancel the signed accords with Israel because of its persistent aggressive policies against the Palestinian people, particularly the settlements and not releasing the Palestinian prisoners policies.

Abbas said that we can not continue to be bound to the agreements signed between us as long as Israel continues to increasingly violates them, and Israel must take full responsibility as an occupying power, we can not be the only party that respects and implements the agreements.

Netanyahu’s office said that Abbas’s speech was disappointing and calls for chaos in the Middle East!

In the meantime, Hamas considered the speech an emotional one, and can only be judge after we see how long it will take Abbas to cancel these agreements with Israel.
