Fredrik Bengtsson, Swedish migration agency press chief, said the agency plans to deport about 80000 refugees over the next few years.

Bengtsson said the main factor that determines whether the refugee will stay or get deported is the situation in the country where he/she came from at the time of decision, if the refugee is still in need of protection, he/she will be granted asylum and stay, other wise they’ll be sent home.

But this may take some time, because Sweden received about 160000 refugees over the past year, and the migration agency is expected to take decisions about them during the years 2016 and 2017, and then it will be determined whether the refugee will be granted residence and stay or will he/she will be sent home, depending on the situation there.

According to Bengtsson, the basic rule is: If an asylum seeker is in need of protection he/she will be granted asylum and stay, but if he/she came to Sweden in search of a better life, they will be deported.
