EU-Turkey avtal

It seems that the agreement between the EU and Turkey about migrants have already resulted in the sharp decline of migrants coming into the EU.

Migrants boat traffic coming from Turkey to the Greek islands nearly stopped since the agreement came into force yesterday.

One of the main terms of the agreement is that all refugees coming from Turkey to Greece will be sent back to Turkey.

Only one boat, belonging to a Spanish charity organization, has arrived to the Greek island of Lesbos this morning, which has been unusual for a long time.

The number of refugees who arrived to the Greek islands yesterday, after the agreement came into force, is about 1,600 people who are being held in camps at the moment, and they cannot move freely, because they should be sent back to Turkey, according to the terms of the agreement, but it will take some time because the Greek authorities have to employ thousands of employees in these camps to run it.
